The Tiago.ev comes with 2 drive modes – City & Sport – each with 4 levels of regenerative braking, giving 8 driving mode combinations. In Sport Mode, the 24 kWh variant delivers 114 Nm instant torque with 0-60 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.

IP67 certification means the motor and battery pack are fully dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. This ensures reliable and safe operation even in monsoon conditions common in India.

The Next Gen Tiago.ev supports multiple charging options for maximum convenience:

• AC Home Wall Box (3.3 kW): ~6.9 hrs (19.2 kWh) / ~8.7 hrs (24 kWh)

• AC Fast Charger (7.2 kW): ~2.6 hrs (19.2 kWh) / ~3.6 hrs (24 kWh)

• DC Fast Charger (30 kW): 10% to 80% in just 35 mins for both battery packs

With enhanced 1.2C fast charging, the Next Gen Tiago.ev can add 100 km of real-world range in just 18 minutes* using a DC fast charger. Detailed DC fast charging times:

• 10% to 80%: 35 mins (both 19.2 kWh & 24 kWh)

• 20% to 80%: 29.8 mins (19.2 kWh) | 30 mins (24 kWh)

• 100 km real-world range top-up: 29 mins (19.2 kWh) | 23 mins (24 kWh)

Regenerative braking converts kinetic energy during deceleration or braking into electrical energy that charges the HV battery. The Tiago.ev offers 4 regen levels:

• Level 3 (Maximum Regen): Best for heavy city traffic or downhill driving

• Level 2 (Intermediate Regen): For moderate city traffic

• Level 1 (Minimum Regen): Default regen level for city drives

• Level Off (No Regen): Ideal for coasting on highways

A 3.3 kW AC Wall Box charger is included with the Next Gen Tiago.ev. A portable charging cable is also provided for use with any standard 15A plug point.

From the second registration onwards, the standard HV battery warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km (from the date of first registration, whichever is earlier) applies. It is incumbent on every second or subsequent owner to inform Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited of the ownership transfer to avail the warranty.
